Fishing - there are beats up and down the River Dee

Gliding - minutes away you will find the Deeside Gliding Cub.

Golfing - Aboyne, Ballater, Braemar, Tarland and many more within easy reach

Highland Games - Aboyne, Ballater, Lonach and, probably the most famous, the Braemar Gathering.

Skiing - at the Lecht and at Glenshee.

Walking - Loch Kinord is almost on the doorstep, Cambus O'May forest trails a few miles down the road, Loch Nagar just a few miles drive away,  and Glen Tanar Estate also only a few miles away. You are really spoilt for choice in the Cairngorm National Park.
